The Udbhav marathon organized in the memory of Kailashvasi Shimant Madhav Rao Scindia is one of the main marathons of north India. Every year nearly 20,000 runners participate in the marathon race. Former union minister late Shri Sunil Dutt, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Sri Prakash Jaiswal flying Sikh Milkha Singh, Former Captain of Indian Cricket team Kapil Dev, Cricket Stars Mohammad Kaif, Gautam Gambhir and Olympic Gold Medalist Mr. Abhinav Bindra encouraged the runners in marathon.
